  • Heh heh, I'm actually making an entry while I'm on vacation. I'm entering it while I'm at a car dealership. DUDE, THIS IS CRAZY!

Anyway, I finally managed to purchase and read all 14 volumes of Love Hina, and IT IS FREAKIN' AWE-INSPIRING! Now that I have read them all, let me change a little something here...

    Jimbo's Favorite Animes / Mangas
    1. Love Hina - That's right, I liked it that much. It moved from, what was it, number 3, all the way to number 1. Dang, this is a fine manga! I... I can't stop reading it...
    2. Midori No Hibi - Yeah, I think this is better than Ranma. So sue me.
    3. Ranma 1/2 - Ah, how the mighty have fallen. It's funny because this used to be number 1. The thing is, there really isn't a story to speak of. It's a lot like my book, which I realize now as I write this.

To agree or disagree is your opinion. I don't care, but remember that nothing about me is static. Except for my laziness. That's not going anywhere. Anyway, peace out!

P.S. The quote from my last post was indeed from Gladiator... And Don, what the heck is up with your comment?

  • The day after tomorrow I'm going to my grandma's house for Christmas. She doesn't have a computer, so don't expect any updates for about two weeks. I know, I know. How will you survive without me updating? Well, to help you pass the time, I'll offer you a quick quiz question (hee hee, alliteration)...

What movie does this quote come from:

    "You sold me queer giraffes."

If you can figure it out... good for you. If not, maybe I'll tell you. Peace out and have a happy holiday(s).

  • As per request, I now present to you...

    The Music Jimbo Listens To

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp I tend to listen to 80s music. In fact, I rarely listen to anything else. I like Hair Metal, Synth Pop, and Other Genres. My favorite bands are displayed on my header. If you don't know them... you suck. In the corners are the members of A Flock of Seagulls, in the middle is A-Ha, and in the background is Motley Crue. I also like Wham!, U2, Bon Jovi, Billy Idol, Foreigner, REM, and Twisted Sister. Some 80s singers I hate include: Tears for Fears, Cyndi Lauper, and Duran Duran.
&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp There are some modern things I like, however. I like rave / dance music. I also like that one song "1985". I don't know who sings it, though. Whatever. Oh, and Daft Punk rocks!

    ROCK ON!!!!!!

    CAPTAIN'S LOG:

It has been nearly five days since I have been on punishment. The video game content in blood is running low. As a result, I have realized that shoving pocket lint into a socket is the most fun I can have with electricity. Tee hee hee OW! Now I have nothing to do. Have now resorted to sneaking in an entry onto my xanga in hopes of pity. OH GOD! I'M BEING ATTACKING BY FURRY IGUANAS!

  • Is this the real life?
    Is this just fantasy?
    Caught in a landslide
    No escape from reality
    Open your eyes
Look up to the skies and see
I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy
Because I'm easy come, easy go
    A little high, little low
Anyway the wind blows, doesn't really matter to me, to me

    Mama, just killed a man
Put a gun against his head
Pulled my trigger, now he's dead
    Mama, life had just begun
But now I've gone and thrown it all away
    Mama, ooo
Didn't mean to make you cry
If I'm not back again this time tomorrow
Carry on, carry on, as if nothing really matters

Too late, my time has come
    Sends shivers down my spine
    Body's aching all the time
Goodbye everybody - I've got to go
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth
Mama, ooo - (anyway the wind blows)
    I don't want to die
I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all

I see a little silhouetto of a man
Scaramouch, scaramouch will you do the fandango
Thunderbolt and lightning - very very frightening me
    Gallileo, Gallileo,
    Gallileo, Gallileo,
    Gallileo Figaro - magnifico

But I'm just a poor boy and nobody loves me
He's just a poor boy from a poor family
Spare him his life from this monstrosity
Easy come easy go - will you let me go
Bismillah! No - we will not let you go - let him go
Bismillah! We will not let you go - let him go
Bismillah! We will not let you go - let me go
Will not let you go - let me go (never)
Never let you go - let me go
Never let me go - ooo
No, no, no, no, no, no, no -
Oh mama mia, mama mia, mama mia let me go
Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me
    for me
    for me

So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye
So you think you can love me and leave me to die
Oh baby - can't do this to me baby
Just gotta get out - just gotta get right outta here

    Ooh yeah, ooh yeah
    Nothing really matters
    Anyone can see
Nothing really matters - nothing really matters to me

    Anyway the wind blows...

And that my friends... Is how bored I am. If you don't know what this song is, then I pity you greatly, you sad, deprived child.

    "My humiliation... is complete."

  • Welp, it seems a new Harvest Moon game is in the makes for the GCN. Well, two actually. There's Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life For Girl and there is the new one, Harvest Moon: Song of Happiness. While For Girl is old news, Song of Happiness is fairly new. Here are some magazine scans...

    ~

It looks like a weird hybrid of Animal Crossing and Wind Waker. Also, on a side note, if you are reading this post and don't know what Harvest Moon is... go self mutilate yourself. You need to ease the pain. For those of you who know what Harvest Moon is, but haven't played it yet... go to the store, and purchase Harvest Moon: Back to Nature for the PSX. In fact, do it immediately. Especially if you are reading this at work, or while feeding your children. It is that important. If you don't even play video games... What the hell are you doing on a computer anyway?

  • If you don't already know yet, D&D is very fun if you have a good group of people. Sad to say, I did not have a good group this weekend, but it was still fun nonetheless. I got to make my character, which was most entertaining. I'm a level 1 Thief with high charisma and low wisdom. Go figure. Anyway, I'm equiped with my trusty short sword.

Quite a funny story occured while I was playing for my first time ever. I had just bought my short-sword, and went to the town bazaar for some more shopping. I wanted to see if there were any shoes for sale to raise my already astronomical dexterity so I found an empty shoe stall. I attempted to steal from it, but my skill check failed (I got a friggin' one!). Anyway, this ancient hobbit hopped up from the counter and started telling me off. After he finished, he wanted to shave off his long beard with my sword (?). So I hand him the sword and as he was about to slice off his beard, I shoved my sword deep into his neck (I made it with a 20!). I was drenched in hobbit blood, and all I got out of it was two tap-shoes. Sigh.

  • 100%

OMFG!!!!!!!1! I finally obtained 100 percent in GTA: San Andreas. I'm so proud of myself, I'm going to treat myself to a cookie. To be honest, 100% isn't as great as I thought.

    SPOILER ALERT!

All you get in exchange for completing the game is a tank, another hydra, infinite ammo, and some stat boosts. Neither your health nor your armor increases like in Vice City, which is depressing. I'd say the best thing about 100% is the tank. IT'S FRIGGIN' AWESOME! The new Rhino beats the crap out of the old one because it looks like a real tank! w00t!

In other news, I want to try to make an adjective regular slang.
    Supernovic: (adj) Friggin' awesome

  • So it turns out McDonalds sucks. Not the food, that's great, but trying to get a job with them. It was a complete waste of time. I was supposed to meet someone at ~16:00 and I only find out 3 (that's right, 3) hours later that she isn't coming. Out of all of this, I did get one thing accomplished however. I filled out and turned in an application to Klein's. In yo face McDonald's!

On a side note, let me give you an update on my progress in GTA: San Andreas...

    98.40%

All I need to do is take all of the photo-ops, spray all of the gang tags, and collect all of the horseshoes. Anyway, the whistle got the WHOOP WHOOP!

  • Check it out, I made a wallpaper too.

    Billy Idol Wallpaper

Why did I make a wallpaper, you ask? Well, because everybody else is doing it. I know it's simple, but hey, that's just the kind of guy I am. Maybe I'll do a Flock of Seagulls wallpaper. Maybe.

Oh, and it only comes in one size, 1024 x 768. If you don't like it, tough!
