Man, it's boring down here. Though, that has been the story of my summer thus far. After graduation and up until June 22nd, I was stuck inside government housing (which is CRAP) until we closed on the new house. There, I mostly played Tales of Symphonia while my dad was at work. This makes my tally of RPGs that I have played the whole way through up to three. When I moved into the house, I was left with just a bed and my video game systems (sans a TV) until July 1st when the furniture came. Thank God I got my library card. I passed much of my time reading Myst: The Book of D'ni and The Divine Comedy. I didn't get to finish the latter however. I was about to start purgatory when I just plum got tired of it. Whatever. Now, about a month later, we are almost completely unpacked and my dad and "legal guardian" are going to Maryland for business. Bastards. I wanted to go but I have to man the fort. However, that does mean I get free reign to the house in their stead. Food supplies are already running low and I may actually have to leave the house, something which I dread doing above all else because it is so freakin' hot in this state. My dad got me the new Harry Potter book to pass the time. Funny thing is, I picked up from Wal-Mart a few days prior, so I had to return it and got my money back. With this money, I picked up Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers for the PS2 from the bargain bin. Legolas all the way biznatches. When I'm not playing LotR, I'm playing a semi-old computer game called Patrician II. Quite fun indeed.
And that was my summer, thus far. Be sure to tune in some other time, like when I start college in about a month. Midlands Technical College! Associate in Science! ... big fat hairy deal. Peace out.
