  • Don't expect any posts for a while...

  • Here's an interesting thought I had. It came up as I was trying to pay attention to the road. Let me set the scene. Everyday, as I leave class, I pass in front of the local High School. On the big announcement board, it said that the school was holding a "gang awareness seminar." I thought, "well, that's nice of them." Then it got me really thinking. What this country needs is a good Gang Recruitment Fair. It would be like a job fair, but for gangs. It would be held in a big convention center, and all of the great gangs will be represented. We would have reps from the Red and the Italian mafia. Reps from the Bloods and the Kryps. Reps from the Triads and Yakuza. It would be great! All of the gangs will, of course, only send PR people, so there would not be much bloodshed. They would have free handouts like key lanyards, pens, and tec-9s. Of course, the police and government would all be paid off. They would cover it up and maybe call it something like a "gang awareness seminar." Then, unsuspecting and easily malleable youth would enter, fill out applications, trade resumes, and prepare for a career in crime. Yup, this country definitely needs a good gang fair!

  • Well, it only took me about two years, but I finally finished Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life.
I must say that I... am... very... angry!!!!!!!

    My...

    Son...

    Became...

    An...

    ARTIST!!!!!!!!!!

How... how could this have happened? I did everything I could to steer him away from that! I never even spoke with Cody during the whole game! How? Well, it can not be helped. That game is dead to me now. Water under the bridge, that it is. I only hope Magical Melody can make up for this atrocity. Argh, wednsday is just so far away! I can't wait!

P.S. Stephen, you will probably like this manga below. The main character looks and acts just like Ayumu "Osaka" Kasuga.

  • Well, I have to make a decision here. On March 28th, both Kingdom Hearts II and Harvest Moon: Magical Melody are released. Now, I don't have enough cash for both, so which should I get?

Okay, I lied. There is no competition. I'm getting Harvest Moon. KH2 can wait for me. The real question is who I should go after in Harvest Moon:

    Nina?
    Lyla?

I think Natsume is trying to screw with me...

On a completely unrelated note: Robert, Stephen, we have to get together sometime and do something like this...

  • Well, my car has hit the ripe, lucky age of 13! Happy birthday car! Let's never forget your importance.

  • POLITICAL OPINION ALERT

Just thought I'd put that up there for good measure. Now, it's time to actually get serious. Here's what's on my mind. I recently heard on the radio that Virginia is trying to pass a law that will test high schoolers for drug usage. Great! It's about time. There are citizens, however, that do not share this viewpoint. They claim that it is an "invasion of privacy." I would like to reiterate the fact that certain illicit drugs, such as cocaine and mary jane, are illegal and dangerous. Testing teenagers would be logical and would put them on the right track. If one does not use these substances, then the drug testing should be no problem. Apparently, those speaking out against the bill have something to hide and demand privacy. I have no problems telling the government that I don't do drugs, and have no qualms taking tests to prove it. I have nothing to hide. Testing for drugs is not an invasion of privacy, it is a necessary step in law enforcement.

    END OF POLITICAL OPINION

For everybody else, here is a funny Japanese Fanta advert... enjoy

Boy, if the people at Xanga weren't paying close attention to me before, they probably will be with all of these "keywords" in this post. Well, just so long as they don't shut me down, I'm okay. Anyway, humanity has come a long way, hasn't it?

  • Heh heh, I almost got beat up yesterday. It was because I did something really stupid that, at the time, I thought was really smart. Way of the world, I know. Let me set the scene for you.

Jimbo was cleaning the windows outside of the store on a beautiful morning when, off on the horizon, loud rap music drifted towards him. Shortly thereafter, the car playing the music pulled up into Panera Bread's parking lot. The music thumped with window vibrating intensity. At that point the man cut the engine and went inside the bakery-cafe.

Now at this point, most intelligent people would let this slide and say nothing. Uh-uh, not this intelligent person. I was outside cleaning windows all morning, so I was a little irritable. As the guy left to get to his car...

Jimbo: Y'know, Hitler listened to really loud music when he rode in his car.
    Black Dude: What?!
Jimbo: Is that how you want to be remembered? As the guy who rode in his car... just like Hitler?
    Black Dude: Man, f*** you!
Jimbo: Jawohl mein Fuhrer! Sieg Heil!

And with that, he was off. Afterwards, of course, I realize how stupid I was. Sheesh. I gotta stop doing windows. It's bad for my health.

  • Here's an interesting statistic. Apparently, more children in the United States are molested than wear braces. Proud to be an American, indeed...
